It is with great excitement and anticipation than we announce the following leadership changes for Hire Road:


Lexi Gussert will now be serving the clients and candidates of Hire Road as the Director of Business Development.
Lexi brings a strong leadership mindset and competitive drive to everything she does. Her persistent and determined approach has been key to driving Hire Road’s growth across diverse industries. Lexi’s focus on transparency and collaboration ensures that every placement is a true partnership, fostering long-term relationships that benefit both clients and candidates alike. Excited to see Lexi continue to lead and grow Hire Road’s impact in this new role.


Bryce Lindberg will now be serving the clients and candidates of Hire Road as the Director of Operations
In his nine years with Hire Road, Bryce has been a relentless worker and top producer. He too has a thorough understanding of how our business works, what our clients expect and how to treat candidates and employees. I am very excited to see how Bryce will lead Hire Road in this new role and continue to meet and exceed the expectations of or clients, candidates, and employees.
This is a very exciting time to be a part of Hire Road and we are incredibly proud of who we are and how we lead and deliver in this industry. 

Mike Mumford will continue in his role as owner and founder of Hire Road, which he started in 2013. He now serves as CEO and owner of The Woodmansee Group.

Mike Mumford

 

Mike Mumford leads Hire Road with an entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative approach that challenges each employee to innovate in order to find success. He encourages autonomy, creativity, opportunistic vigilance and independent thinking across the board. It was his own independent thinking that led him to start Hire Road in 2013.

 

Mike envisions Hire Road as a lean, outside-the-mold, transformational business. Together with his leadership partners, Mike leads Hire Road by fusing the strengths of a strategic consulting firm with the power and depth of a best-in-class recruiting and talent acquisition organization.

Bryce Lindberg

 

Bryce Lindberg joined Hire Road in 2016 after earning his MBA from Northwood University. As a former college football player at Northwood, Bryce developed a strong work ethic, discipline, and a relentless drive for success. These qualities have shaped his approach to both personal and professional growth, laying the foundation for his accomplishments in recruitment and leadership.

Bryce has also distinguished himself as a trusted advisor and mentor to both clients and colleagues. With expertise in recruiting strategies and best practices, he has provided invaluable guidance to help clients meet their hiring objectives and organizational goals. His collaborative approach, coupled with a passion for coaching, has empowered teams to excel in their recruitment efforts.

Lexi Gussert

 

Lexi Gussert joined Hire Road four years ago after earning her Master’s in Sports Administration from Michigan State University. A four-year letter winner and captain of the Michigan State women’s basketball team, Lexi’s leadership, competitive nature, and commitment to excellence on the court have seamlessly translated into her professional career. She brings the same level of determination and drive to her work at Hire Road.

Lexi thrives on high integrity and embraces challenges, continuously seeking opportunities to grow and excel in every project she takes on. Her passion for excellence and dedication to building strong connections continue to make a powerful impact on Hire Road and its clients.

Susan P. Smith

 

 

Susan P. Smith has been recruiting HR talent for Detroit area organizations for over 30 years.  She began her career with AT&T in HR, operational, and financial management positions then joined Citicorp’s Advance Mortgage Corporation. Her professional recruiting career started in 1984 when she joined a large national search firm. In 1992 Smith Professional Search was launched.  Susan earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Wayne State University with a major in Personnel and Industrial Relations. She is also a Certified Senior HR Professional through HRCI (SPHR) and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP).

Bruce Woodmansee

 

Bruce Woodmansee, President of The Woodmansee Group, LLC, is an entrepreneur, executive search consultant and human resources leader with a career spanning over forty years in dynamic, high growth organizations. The Woodmansee Group's twenty two years of success is a direct result of Mr. Woodmansee's vision to create a firm that is flexible, user friendly, pragmatic and results oriented.

 

Mr. Woodmansee earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.

 

Mr. Woodmansee is the co-chair of the Callard/Woodmansee Foundation (Katy's Youth Fund) dedicated to supporting youth, education, development and well-being outside of public schools and government programs. In addition, Mr. Woodmansee was previously a member of the advisory board of Proof Research as well as an officer and board member of The Callard Company, an international marketing and advertising firm with offices throughout the United States as well as in London, England and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
